Ellen White advised us to go to the countryside in her writings. Is her advice based on what is mentioned in Matthew 24:16?

A lot of times I hear that we have to dress appropriately when we go to church, which I completely agree with. Many church leaders use the same old analogy “what if the president came to your house? How would you dress? If you would dress well to receive the president, then you would dress well to receive God”. My question is: does God care that we are dressed nicely and formally as opposed to us showing up to church wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt?
