The 5th commandment has been the first commandment with a promise attached to it? What is the reason behind?
Did god really stop the earth rotating in Joshua’s time or was Gods light (like the first day of creation). i asked this because in recent studies it showed that due to the laws of inertia if the earth should suddenly stop rotating, the whole earth would flood, we would be flung away and all buildings would be flattened.(i do believe that all thing are possible with God)
Satan doubted God and accused Him of being an unfair dictator. He might have cherished this thought instead of reasoning with God. Had he reasoned his doubt, would God have cleared it and Saten still remain in heaven?
Jesus prayed for Judas Iscariot’s salvation for all three and half years. Because of individual choice, this prayer couldn’t be answered. Similarly, if we unceasingly pray for someone’s salvation, we wouldn’t be sure if it would be answered. So my question is, do we have to pray for someone’s salvation since it is totally their choice?
