A non SDA Christian claims that the earth is millions of years. Neither is he willing to go into the Bible to find out the truth. Hence, inorder to catch his attention how can one reason out on lines like a) If earth is thousand years old how are you calculating the birth of Jesus? ( This is what came to my mind to tell him, but before presenting it to him I wish to know from you can such a statement make him thing twice?) Why Is the word “begotten” in reference to Jesus used in John 3:16, especially when it means ” bring into existence by the process of reproduction” ?

In 1King 17:21. Elijah’s prayer is for the child’s soul to come back to him. But the child is the soul himself, isn’t it? And in verse 22 says, “And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.” Why should the soul of the child have to come back into him again as if the soul had separated when the reality is the child himself is the soul?

When I was younger, I really liked JPop (Japanese Pop culture). I found out that it is pretty normal for Japanese men to pluck and style their eyebrows. And lately men are somewhat shaving some part of their brows to have some style as well. When I became an Adventist, I was surprised that God has given us instructions on how to groom our hair gender-wise. I am kinda disturbed about these trends with men’s eyebrows. What does the Bible say about it?
