Is Apostle Paul a jew or a gentile?
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs but before it was 27. Why is it changeable?
Acts 23:6 “But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.”Please expound that phrase of the hope and resurrection of the dead for it is JESUS. Pharisees were opposing JESUS that time so what was the connection of claiming that he is a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee with the hope and resurrection of the dead? Thank you.
I’ve just wondered why the Scripture just mentioned a few details about Enoch? It would have been a great experience to study how he walked with GOD amidst this dark world. Isn’t it?
Which is the best Bible translation? Or should I say, what version would you recommend? Thank you.
Many preachers said that there was an error on the placement of the comma in Luke 23:43 “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” If so, what is the original text and interpretation? Did JESUS tell Dismas “the penitent thief” that he will be with Him in paradise that same day?
A distant relative of us doesn’t in the Bible. He was telling that as long as he is not doing any harm to his fellowmen there is no need for him to go to the church, or simply as long as he is kind, he is safe. What is the best response to him? In my opinion kindness is different from righteousness. Anyone could appear kind to his fellowmen as a people pleaser without the courage to say “no” while righteousness which comes from GOD, requires a stand with GOD’s commandments and to what pleases the LORD whatever it takes.… Read more »
Before entering college at 16 years of age, deciding which course to take I had made a mistake by consulting mainly my parents when I should be consulting GOD and GOD alone. Anyway, I’m no longer practicing that profession right now cause all of the job offers I’ve got were without Saturday off. How could I make it right with the LORD?
Would Paul be in trouble if he had gotten married? Would it be more helpful if he had written how did he learn that GOD has given him the gift of celibacy, wouldn’t it? What are the signs that an individual has a gift of celibacy?
Do we have to do things for God even when we don’t feel like it? If we do something we don’t feel like doing for someone, won’t it be half-hearted? God wants our whole-hearted service, doesn’t he?
We are often taught as kids that the Bible shouldn’t be kept under any other book. While we do respect the authority of the Bible, from where does this teaching originate and must we follow it?
A married woman is in love with a married man. Neither woman’s husband not Man’s wife know about their spouses extra marital relationship. Both woman and man feel guilty and wants to stop the relationship. Do they have to reveal the truth to their spouses in order to practice true Christan confession ?
In the Scripture, the angels appearing before GOD’s people or prophets would often begin heir message by saying “Fear not” then they would speak out GOD’s very message. Why would they would be fearful of heavenly beings when they are being led by the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit who was dwelling in them would tell them that it was an angel of the LORD. Their hearts which are in harmony with the LORD would recognized it, wouldn’t it?
I would usually wake up at 4am or 5am sometimes even at 3am to talk with God but there are times when I would be waking up at 6:30am, which is 2 hours before I start my day cause the company driver would pick me up at 8:30am. Was my 6:30am devotion with God diminished my relationship with God together with the power of the Holy Spirit to transform my character because of the time difference?
